Murder Investigation Launched After Serious Assault Hebden Bridge

Detectives have launched a murder investigation after a man died after a serious assault on Hebden Bridge on Saturday night. (27 July)

Officers were called at 20:57 on 27 July to reports of an ongoing fight between two men on Crown Street.  

Police and ambulance attended the scene and found a man aged 52 unconscious.  

The victim was taken to hospital with a life threatening head injury, the man sadly died in hospital yesterday. (29 July)
