Appeal: Serious Injury Collision, Leeds

Police have issued an appeal for witnesses following a serious injury collision in Leeds.  

It happened at about 5.35pm yesterday (Thursday) when an MG4 Trophy car was in collision with a female pedestrian in Neville Street, underneath the railway bridge by the Dark Arches.  

The 26-year-old woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries which were described as life threatening.  

The car driver, a 47-year-old man from Leeds, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
