Appeal: Serious Injury Collision, Pontefract

*Friday, 9 August 2024 *

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious injury collision involving a car and a pedestrian in Pontefract.  

At about 6.24pm on Wednesday, 7 August, a black Vauxhall Corsa was travelling along Carleton Road when it was in collision with a 77-year-old man.  

The man was taken to hospital and remains there today where his condition is said to be stable.
