Drought declared in eight areas of UK as heatwave hits 36C temperatures

Devon and Cornwall, Solent and South Downs, Kent and South London, Herts and North London, East Anglia, Thames, Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire, and the East Midlands are set to be hit with a drought.
