DWP hires more staff ahead of bank account checks beginning for 'four benefits'

Work and pensions minister, Andrew Western, confirmed that funding would be allocated for 3,000 new roles within the DWP's Counter Fraud, Compliance and Debt (CFCD) division from April 2025.
