Firefighters and Police had to rescue residents from the balconies of a burning apartment complex off Highway 58 this afternoon.
6 people were taken to the hospital.

Five people were treated at the scene for injuries.
They were trapped on balconies before firefighters got their ladders up to rescue them.
Good samaritans pulled another injured man out of the burning building from the ground floor.
It happened around 2:30 at the rustic village north apartments.
Fire officials report several apartments in building two, were damaged.
Six people have been sent to the hospital.
One of the those individuals did have to jump partway.
But luckily all three of those they made it out of the situation.
And then some citizens, i'm not sure if they were from this apartment building or another one, rescued another person and pulled them and pulled him out of the structure and he was out front when we arrived."
Firefighters were on the roof of the building ventilating the units from heavy smoke.

A victim from the Rustic Village North apartments fire has died a week later.
The owner of the Rustic Village North says building 2 is a total loss after yesterday's fire.
