Buses will transition away from carrying as many people as possible.
Transit operators will be focused on areas that are not walk-able for students.
Routes such as the purdue airport, tower acres and ross-ade stadium will receive more attention.
Gibson says these changes (could also be in effect for the spring semester as well.
"we are working really closely with our partners at purdue to make sure that the service we are providing is what they need.
We are also using the data that we have at our disposal, get in there with a fine tooth comb, look at areas where we can change the schedule make adjustments and provide better service."
Gibson says students will also be required to wear a mask on buses.
Campus loops and shuttle service for students will begin for the fall semester on monday.
