16-year-old at-risk teenager missing in Corvallis

Department is asking for help in finding a special needs teenager who*may be at risk.

Officials say 16- year-old 'ava care- y' was last seen on the 700 block of con-ifer boulevard at 6 p-m on thursday.

Her family says she was headed to a nearby park-- but didn't return and wasn't responding to texts.

Her family says this behavior isn't like her and fears that she may have been taken.

Officers have been canvassing the area with k-9's, and the family organized a search party of around 80 people today.

They say they want their little girl to come back home.

"i just want my girl back i want her home i would ask someone who has her to please let her go and let her come home to her family who loves and supports her and if ava is able to hear this news that she knows we are never going to give up looking for her" ava was last seen with her skateboard, wearing blue jeans with a black t-shirt and running shoes.

She is 5 and a half feet tall, weighs 107 pounds with reddish auburn hair.

The family is offering a 5 thousand dollar reward for anybody with a tip leading
