Pacers..)???back here in the summit city... couple of interesting matchups on the high school soccer pitch tonight... we begin with 2-a #12 leo hosting homestead..

???we're just over 12 minutes into the first half when israel schuman gets taken down inside the box... foul is called... that'll result in a penalty kick for the lions... and alec mckinny makes good on that opportunity... it's 1-0 leo...???not for long though... just a few minutes later, spartans on the attack now... ball goes way up in the air on the cross... noah smith ends up on the ground, and we've got another foul in the box...???riley george takes the p-k for sparty, and he tucks it away to tie the game at one goal a piece..???but the lions would score again before the night was over... leo wins this one, 2-1...) ???we head over to fort wayne sport club... that's where we find bishop luers playing host to the number one ranked team in class 1-a... that would be lakewood park christian..

???luers has a good team too though... on the attack early... dangerous opportunity, but luke carnahan is able to corale it... scoreless midway through the first half...???little later, here come the knights again... good ball from luis donis sets up connor nichter..

And nichter gets the better of carnahan this time... makes it 1-0 bishop luers...???later in the half... lakewood looking for the equalizer... zach collins gets behind the defense, but gabe rivera is there to make the stop..

???knights go into halftime with a 1-0 lead... they go on to win, 3-2..
