And raised a lot of spirits.

Ben was a motorcade it's like it takes devastation that brings people together.

The cities of butte falls and shady cove together decided to host the motorcade yesterday morning to show how much they've appreciated the work that was done on the south opening fire that put both cities at risk of being destroyed.

There isn't enough appreciation for what they do.

Them to know that, you know, there are people that sincerely care about that and may really want to say, thank you.

The idea for the motorcade began about three weeks ago when people created the south fire hero celebration, facebook page, and wanted to show their support.

But with only a limited amount of time to get the event prepared, it took a lot of people to make this happen today.

We wanted to thank everybody that came out and fought to save homes.

It didn't matter who you were.

If they knew you didn't know you, they were saving home by home, by home.

It's amazing what people can do when they pull together.

The motorcade from both cities made their way to the opposite city before finally making their way back and returning home.
