Fire Destroys Family's House Anderson County
#### a family in anderson county is in need of help..after losing their home..and all of their things in a fire.
Two people...were taken to the hospital after a fire at a home friday... lawrenceburg fire chief mike barnes says he thinks the fire was cause by an extention cord underneath the carpet...that was being crushed by furniture.
Claudena huff lived in the house...with her son..her daughter-in- law...and her 11- year-old grand daughter .
She says her granddaughter couldn't get out the house on her own...so her father went in to save her.
They both got out safely...and spent the night in the hospital for smoke inhalation.
Now...the community is helping them move forward.
Neighbor amanda hatfield says she has already started gathering donations to help.
"they're really good people.
They're really nice neighbors.
They would help us if we needed it.
I do know that."
