Evening everyone...well..
We're down to the final four..
It's semi-state weekend for soccer here in indiana..and no boys soccer team in the state has more semi-state or state titles than the canterbury cavaliers...but... this year's run for the cavs is a bit different than any of their other trips through the state tournament...for the first time in school history, greg mauch's squad will be eyeing a state title appearance in class 2a...every other one of their 12 trips to state has come in class 1a...this is canterbury's first semi-state appearance since the second of back-to-back trips in 20-18... and..
Well it won't be easy..
They're going to face a 16-3-3 northwood team that's ranked 13th in the state..but the cavs are playing well..
Riding a 15 game unbeaten streak, during which they've allowed just seven goals..
Canterbury and northwood will face off at 3 p-m at south
The Canterbury boys soccer team is getting ready for their third state championship appearance in the past four seasons.
