No one was hurt in Tuesday evening house fire

Are we are following breaking news out of terre haute tonight.

Neighbors are calling a house "a total loss" after a fire.

But here's what we know.

The fire started just before 6 p-m at a home on the 24 hundred block of locust street.

Firefighters and witnesses say flames and smoke were coming from the home.

You see lots of smoke in this video.

Police told folks to avoid the area as firefighters fought that fire.

Fought that fire.

Vigo county dispatchers say medics were on the scene... but no one was taken to the hospital.

The fire marshall was called to investigate.
