A large group of supporters of President Donald Trump slowed and stopped traffic on a portion of the Garden State Parkway in New Jersey on Sunday.
Multiple videos posted to social media showed vehicles flying Trump flags stopped on the highway as their occupant blew their car horns and cheered loudly.
Local media reports the incident took place in the express lanes and along the Parkway's grassy shoulder areas, in the Holmdel area of the state.
On Friday, a caravan of Trump supporters closely followed a Biden-Harris campaign bus, leading to a collision and the cancelation of several Democratic Party events.
MSNBC's Stephanie Ruhle said the Chessequake area express lanes were 'basically shut down.'
She tweeted, 'Trump supporters out of their cars with flags.'
