Shasta county's case rate went from 7- point-5-percent to 10-point-4 percent that's according to shasta county public health.
Public health leaders say, they're seeing an increase in community transmission.
On top of restaurants... movie theaters... and musuems halting all indoor operations, highers instuitions--like colleges-- also have to stop in- person learning.
People are not shocked that this happened, but are frustrated with the constant back and forth i really expected it to happen, things have been moving up, the numbers of covid have been moving up, the numbers have been creeping up increasingly, and i really dot know how they're going to put a cap on it the county must be in the purple tier for 3 weeks before it can drop back into the red.
The county has 3 days to get into compliance.
Shasta county public health leaders are urging people to wear keep on wearing masks and practice social distancing, to help the county get out of the purple tier.
