Tyler says: governor kate brown will begin enforcing the two week pause on jackson county starting wednesday.
This will last up until the day before thanksgiving.
This includes new restrictions for restaurants which limits them to having 50 people in the restaurant at one time including staff and guests.
Vo: today the ram restaurant held just over 70 people during lunch hours.
Staff there say normally 13 to 20 people are working and soon that will change.
Ram is one of many restaurants following governor brown and osha's guidelines.
Schools will also be following governor browns orders which means limited in person.
The two week pause not applying to them.
Medford school's superintedent says they're still in the red of the metrics system and would like to be green as soon as possible.
Sot: we're able by oregon department of education guidance and oregon health authority they jointly put together the guidance on what it looks like to reopen schools and part of what they said is that we are allowed to have limited in person instruction which are small cohorts.
Cohorts of 20 or fewer kids.
