Parkside Cafe is just one restaurant that's having to adjust to Governor Brown's new metrics of Jackson County's two-week pause.

Newswatch 12s hailey gravitt spoke with restaurants having to adjust to only allowing 50 people to dine in at a time.

Hailey: parkside cafe is just one restaurant that's having to adjust and owners say they hope its only going to be the two weeks and it wont be extended.

Vo: they bought the restaurant back in may, and since the pandemic started they've had to adjust to the rapid change in metrics.

The owners say they don't see what two weeks is going to change.

And if it we'rent for their customers they wouldn't have even known about this pause.

Tami says: you wouldn't know nobody tells businesses anything, we knew by either watching tv or our customers telling us.

There's nothing sent to a business to tell them what is changing.

Parkside cafe says that the more concerning part is the unknown of what's next to come for small businesses.

Hailey: parkside cafe says that this pause doesn't negatively affect its business because there are not more than 50 people in the restaurant at a given time.

In medford hg nw12 larger restraurants will feel more of an impact from the pause metrics but it's not just restaurants that are seeing changing restrictions ... the pause stops indoor visits to long-term care facilities.

- places a 50-person cap for recreational venues like gyms, fitness centers and museums. - working from home is encouraged.

- private social get-together's are supposed to be limited to a max of 6 people, if including more than 1 household.
