The Union Health Foundation is funding new care technology in response to the COVID-19 surge.

The union health foundation is paying for new care technology in response to the covid-19 surge in terre haute.

The new technology will be delivered within the week.

The foundation awarded *a 97-thousand 500"-dollar grant to union hospital.

This is for the purchase of a specialized patient management system.

This system will allow healthcare providers to "remotely" care for patients while they're recovering at home.

Union hospital tells us this will help them provide care to both patients in and out of the hospital.

"we are looking for patients that we can send home with these monitors so that they can recover at home.

So that we can continue to provide excellent care for the more critical people that are in the hospital with covid-19 and other diseases didn't go away.

" the monitors will last 12 days.

It monitors all the vitals..

And someone at union will be monitoring all of patient's levels.
