A Talent man had his first court appearance today
G.
As today marks day two of a homicide investigation that happened monday morning at the straford inn in ashland.
Newswatch 12's adam schumes has been covering this story since it broke yesterday and joins us now with the latest.
It was a life taken far too soon as one man is and the suspect had his first appearance in court today.
47 year old robert paul keegan is being charged with murder of a 19 year old man aidan ellison.
Now this all happened in the straford inn parking lot monday morning around 430 am.
I've been speaking with people who knew aiden the best.
They describe him as a good guy who didn't deserve this.
Aiden moved into the inn after he lost his job in the almeda fire.
What i'm being told that the whole argument started over a choice of music.
Now one man is dead and another is charge with murder.
Is this a good kid?
You know, he, he didn't deserve this.
He had his whole life ahead of him and it was just taken from him because he's the funny guy who had a problem with a loud noise.
Now the 19 year old had been living with jones since june or july.
Ive been told he loved to dance and he lit up every room that he walked into.
He worked at the burger king in ashland.
Now as for keegan --- he is currently being held without bail.
His preliminary hearing is set for december second.
