Him.
Here at the salvation army today multiple people here in the community volunteered to cook meals and give clothes to people in need.
"i actually live on the railroad tracks right by here."
Kenneth hill is one of many people here in tupelo that's not sure where his next meal is coming from.
Which is why lee county locals jermandy jackson and lawrence lindsay took today to hand out free hot meals and snacks to the homeless.
"with him coming out to give us blankets and shoes things like that and feed us, it's a blessing to us and too all."
Just a day after thanksgiving jackson and lindsay also decided to give away clothes donated by others in the community this to make sure those without homes have what they need to stay warm as december is nearing "it's through the grace of god that we all are alive and in order for us to have blessing you have to give to receive."
Hill says in addition to being homless the pandemic makes it harder to stay safe.
He says event's like this one organized by jackson helps people like him to replace things they lost because of living on street "because of the virus this week, like i said i'm homeless, i live on the tracks in a tent, they plowed my tent down so now i've had to move down and now i' gathering things again."
