Hancock County Health System extends clinic hours

The medical clinic will now be open from 7a.m to 7p.m.

So people can get an appointment before or after work.

One clinic in our area is making it easy to do just that.

"* with our busy lives it can be hard to work in a doctor's appointment.

Many of us are at work when the doctor's office is open.

But now ?

"* hancock county health system's britt medical clinic is extending their hours.

They'll be open from 7?

"*30 in the morning, until 7?

"*30 at night, so folks can get appointments before or after work.

I spoke with doctor shannon mobley from the clinic ?

"* who shared why you should come in ?

"* even with te looming threat of the pandemic.

Xxx people are not coming to the doctor, for fear of catching covid.

They're waiting until their symptoms are not in the preventative stage and it's making the outcomes much more difficult and complicated.

Doctor mobley says the clinic is using telehealth visits whenever possible ?

"* but if there is a concern that needs to be addressed in person, they will set up an appointment at the clinic.
