4 counties in our viewing area were put under tighter coronavirus restrictions - in total - governor tate reeves added 12 counties to the stricter measures - including a mask mandate...in an effort to slow the spread... calhoun, clay, grenada and webster counties were put under the governor's mask mandate today... as you can see- except benton county - every county in our area is now under the tighter restictions.

Under the new exective order - a group is to have no more than 10 people while indoors and no more than 50 when outdoors.
Occupancy is limited for k through 12 extracurricular indoort sports venues... they are limited to no more than 4 spectators per student particpant or 250 ticketed spectators.
Other indoor arenas will be limited to no more than 10% of its seating capacity or 1,000 attendees.
Mississippi bars and restaurants are limited in selling alcohol to customers ringing in the new year.
