The Evansville Police Department will give away several thousand toys on Wednesday in front of the Civic Center Christmas tree.
Police department will be holding a drive -thru toy giveaway -- on wednesday.
You will be able to drive by the civic center christmas tree -- starting at 6 that evening -- where each child will be able to pick out one toy.
E-p-d plans to hand out thousands of toys during the event- with help from santa claus and local community organizations.
Cars will be allowed to start lining up at 5-pm --- and after receiving a toy -- you are allowed to get back in line -- until the gifts run out.
