First customer connected Monday to Monroe County Electric's internet service

Joseph richardson was the first in the area that workers hooked up.

I spoke with him earlier this afternoon about the internet service.

He says it works great.

He told me he was on a 2 hour zoom meeting yesterday and had no problems with the service.

Richardson told me he was the first customer to sign up for the internet when monroe county epa started signups.

Many customers scheduled appointments to receive the service... workers will continue adding to the line after the first of the year.

Before this year ends... mpulse fiber hopes to have 26 more customers with high speed internet.
