Phoner:?this is just what happens, even though wee trying to keep the amount of disease low?

Public health officials say seven people died of covid after one person went to work when they knew they were sick.

They say that person also caused another outbreak that put 300 people in quarantine.

They have not said who the person is or where they work but public health officer bob dannenhoffer says situations like this are frustrating, especially because of the recent spike in cases-- and deaths.?what wee seeing is& our highest death rate was just in the last two weeks?

On top of super spreader actions, dannenohffer says douglas county is also struggling with?super spreader events.?the super spreader events were social gatherings that caused a lot of spread of disease in our community?

00:53 evita: dannenhoffer says there were five super spreader events in douglas county in november, and he says that was the number one cause of the recent spike in cases?

However, with cases numbers decreasing in recent weeks, dannenhoffer says he hopeful it will stay that way until everyone in the county is vaccinated.
