San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin, who is being criticized over his handling of a parolee subsequently arrested for a deadly New Year’s Eve hit-and-run crash, once represented the suspect when he was a defense attorney at the Public Defender’s office.
The DA has filed homicide charges against the parolee.
