Congressman Antonio Delgado delivers State of the District Address

Delgado stressed the need to grow infrastructure and provide affordable housing in the 19th District.

Congressman delgado was sworn in on sunday as a member of the 117th congress....this is his second term.

Tonight he spoke about what's being done to combat the coronavirus and it's affect on people and small businesses locally, but he also spoke about the little things that are important to community members.

He pointed out that one of his bills, the fairness for local veterans cemeteries act passed through the house and senate.

He also stressed the need to grow infrastructure and provide affordable housing in the 19th district.

"i will remain a member of the committees on small business, agriculture, transportation and infrastructure.

Not the most high profile committees in congress by any means, but by far the ones that meet the needs of our district."

Delgado says being on these committees will allow him to use his leverage to help the many farms and small businesses in his district thrive, despite challenging economic circumstances.
