Utica police say a man who was rescued from his burning vehicle following an accident Tuesday night died in the hospital Wednesday morning.
Pulled from his burningcar...hae say rescue crews responded to a one car accident into a wooded area near the corner of albany street and south park drive just after 730 last night.
When police and fire crews arrived on scene the car was already on fire and driver was still inside... police say a member of the u-p-d patrol division had to grab a hose while firefighters worked to get the man out.
"the utica fire department arrived immediately on scene used all tools available to extricate the male from the vehicle and were successfully able to do so."
The driver was transported to st.
Elizabeth medical center...where he has since passed away.
This accident remains under investigation.
