Mississippi State University is administering free Pfizer vaccines to all staff in the Longest Student Health Center parking lot.

University is now offering vaccines to all faculty and staff on campus.

She said she's considering getting the vaccine when it becomes available.

Although it isn't offered to students just yet, the university is providing drive thru pfizer vaccinations for all employees.

Brent crocker is the emergency manager at msu.

He said they currently have over 11-hundred vaccines available to administer to employees.

Brent crocker - msu emergency manager: "it helps us have a way to continue operations without having to shut things down or maybe make alternate plans."

He said the vaccine appointments are available from 9 am to 4 pm monday through friday.

Lundy feels expanding the vaccine age groups will help create more normalcy around campus.

Karah lundy - transfer junior at msu: "that would just be like a giant leap and bound to getting us to where we don't have to worry about it anymore.

We could actually live about our daily lives."

Now crocker said the university plans to give all staff that want to get the vaccines done first... and then allow students to get their vaccinations on campus.
