Smith's mother and wife both testified first.
They told the jury morebout their interactions with smith when he came home that night.
He did not tell either of them what had happened to donnie alkire.
Alkire's mother, martha, and half brother, john, also both testified.
You could feel the anger and hurt in their words towards smith as they answered the attorney's questions.
Smith had been a best friend of donnie and his brother john since they were in elementary school.
When martha found out what happened to her son, she called smith.
Who did not tell her anything about his involvement.
John also said he got a call from smith, and again, thing was shared.
This morning we heard from two witnesses to the murder.
Joseph wilkerson, who is serving 57 years in prison for actually stabbing donnie.
And smith's friend nathan reene who claims he was just trying to get a ride home from champs that night.
