Chauvin trial: Defense calls first witnesses, expert says Chauvin's use-of-force was 'justified'

The jury hearing the case against former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin in the death of George Floyd heard from several defense witnesses Tuesday.

This was the first day of testimony for the defense, after just over two weeks of witnesses called by the prosecution.
