Ukrainian Air Force claimed that Russia fired eight ballistic missiles at Kyiv, all of which were shot down.
A series of loud explosions were heard in Kyiv, followed by air raid sirens.
Officials said the attack left a person injured by shrapnel and three more suffered stress reactions.
Ukraine also claimed to have intercepted 18 drones near the Southern Mykolav region.
