The U.S. State Department, through its Rewards for Justice Program, is offering a reward of $10 million for information that disrupts the financial mechanisms of the terror group Hamas.
The focus is on obtaining details about five individuals identified as financial "facilitators" for Hamas: Abdelbasit Hamza Elhassan Khair, Amer Kamal Sharif Alshawa, Ahmed Sadu Jahleb, Walid Mohammed Mustafa Jadallah, and Muhammad Ahmad 'Abd Al-Dayim Nasrallah.
While Khair is based in Sudan, the next three are located in Turkey.
The whereabouts of Nasrallah were not specified in the recent announcement, but a prior U.S. Treasury statement from October 18 indicated that he resides in Qatar.
Hamas has been designated as a Foreign Terrorist Organization by the State Department for the past 26 years.
