Russian president Vladimir Putin has threatened the U.S. Army that they will be treated as interventionists if they enter Ukraine.
His comments came in an interview with Ria Novosti and Rossiya-1 TV.
He added that Russia is ready for a nuclear war if provoked.
His comments came as U.S. President Joe Biden expressed fear that Russia will attack his country, Europe and put global peace at risk if it wins in Ukraine.
Tensions are currently simmering between Russia and NATO nations after French President Emmanuel Macron suggested that the military bloc could send troops to Ukraine to help repel Russian attacks.
