Annmarie had an interest in art as early as middle school and throughout high school.
After high school she got married and signed up for an art program at a local community college, but she stopped when she was pregnant with her first daughter.
Annmarie continued to have babies (She has a total of 5 daughters) and art took a hiatus.
She painted on and off over the years with friends and took a Wednesday night class, but when COVID came around she was able to get back into a drawing practice.
Annmarie has primarily focused on animal paintings and work in pastel and oil.
Annmarie is drawn to animals and she is very grateful that she has been able to use her art to give to animal charities.
Annmarie has recently been working on landscape projects and plan to continue this avenue as well.
Her goal is to find a way to work as an artist full time and be able to walk away from the healthcare industry in which she has worked for decades.
