Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer insists “national security is the most important issue of our time” as he outlines new plans for defence.
Speaking at a campaign event in north-west England, where he met 10 ex-military Labour candidates, Starmer said, “the security and defence of our nation is personal to my family”.
