This lighthearted jab comes months after Johansson expressed frustration with OpenAI for creating a voice in their GPT-4 demo that sounded strikingly similar to hers.
Johansson had previously declined an offer from Altman to voice the ChatGPT 4.0 system, only to be shocked when the demo voice resembled hers so closely that friends and media couldn't tell the difference.
OpenAI has since clarified that the voice was not an imitation but from another professional actress.
Despite this, Johansson might still harbor some resentment, as evidenced by her villain comment.
Reflecting on the situation, she remarked on the rapid pace of technological advancement and its impact on society, particularly among young people, likening it to a "thousand-foot wave."
