Yemen’s Armed Forces have pledged to maintain their operations in support of the Palestinian cause following recent Israeli airstrikes on civilian targets in Yemen.
The commitment was made by Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the forces’ spokesman, in response to the attacks that targeted buildings, oil facilities, and a power station in the western Yemeni province of al-Hudaydah.
The airstrikes, described by General Saree as “heinous aggression,” resulted in the deaths of three people and injuries to 87 others, with many sustaining severe burns, according to a statement from the rebel-run health ministry.
These casualties underscore the grave impact of the strikes on civilian areas, highlighting the escalating violence in the region.
