Today is the 50th anniversary of Ford becoming President after the resignation of Richard Nixon on August 9, 1974.
Mike Ford, the late President's oldest son, says the exhibit is a chance to get younger Americans who may have lost interest in government and faith in the political process to get their appreciation for the country rekindled.
