The Bishop Dwenger volleyball team is getting set for their first trip to semi-state since 2016.
Saturday... hey speaking of dwenger...the saints' volleyball team is trying to give the soccer team a run for their money this fall...after sweeping 3a's top ranked bellmont last weekend, the saints are now off to volleyball semi-state for the first time since 20-16...with a win at semi-state, dwenger would advance to their first state finals in school history...but to get there they'll have to get through a tough new prairie squad...the cougars are 25-7... but dwenger has been better... the saints are 31-2... they haven't lost in over a month... and they haven't dropped a set in just as long... 3 so it'll be dwenger versus new prairie for a trip to state on the line...game is set to begin at 6 p-m..
That will be played at logansport high
Sectional championship games are now set, and several squads from Northeast Indiana will be competing for hardware next week!
Carroll, Homestead and Bishop Dwenger claimed sectional titles on Saturday night.
