A rematch between cindy hyde-smith and mike espy for the u-s senate seat will be on your ballot tomorrow.

But there are new factors in play.

Here's what 3 on your side's courtney ann jackson learns today asking the analysts for their pre-election day predictions.

Cindy hyde-smith and mike espy continuing their bus tours leading up to election day.

But neither side's supporters are convinced it'll be a blowout.

"i'm looking forward to a win.

But if he does, it'll be a squeaker, it's no question about that.

It won't be a landslide of any sort.

It won't be a bunch of percentage of points either."

"i think it will probably be a close race.

I think at the end of the day it'll end up looking very similar to how the results in 2018 looked but we'll see."

One difference compared to 2018---the money.

Mike espy has raised more than cindy hyde-smith this year.

"i think it may have a tremendous impact.

You can know what to do but if you don't have the resources, you can't get it done."

"the hyde-smith campaign had to respond as best as they can.

They didn't have as much money.

They've been outspent in the race.

But i thin they've responded very well in the last two weeks sort of contrasting the differences in cindy hyde-smith and mike espy."

Another factor not there in 2018---a presidential race driving turnout.

"republicans know she supports president trump.

Democrats know mike espy will help get the democrats one vote closer to obtaining the majority in the u.s. senate.

Voters know who they are."

"i just believe we're going to surprise some folks tomorrow night.

I certainly do.

The energy is out there."

Millsaps professor dr. nathan shrader points out another factor to consider.

"that large number of in person absentee and mail absentee voting taking place in the last couple of weeks...that's really a wildcard in all of this because as of right now it's hard to tell exactly who's shown up and who's going to show up on election day."

Courtney ann jackson, three on your side.

Today was the final day to return an absentee ballot in alabama.

And alabama secretary of state john h.

Merrill strongly reccommended turning in that ballot in person.

Merrill says the ballot must be returned to the county absentee election manager's office.

If returned by mail, the absentee ballot must be postmarked by today and received by noon tomorrow.

That's why he says it makes the most sense to drop it off yourself.

The alabama secretary of state's office is reporting the state has tripled its absentee voting record with more than 300,000 ballots successfully returned.

Polls open in mississippi and in alabama at 7:00 a.m.

If you have never voted, or if it's been a while, here are a few things you should know.

Be sure to bring a photo id.

In both states, you can use a driver's license, a non driver id, a us passport, a government employee id card, a student photo id from a state university, college or community college, a us military id or a tribal id.

If you are not sure where to go to vote, you can look online.

The secretary of state's website allows you to locate your polling place.

You can also call your county circuit clerk's office.

Polls will close at 7:00 p.m.

But if you are already in line at 7:00, you will be allowed to stay in line and cast your vote.

As wcbi's allie martin reports, "behold home" furniture is expanding because of its quality products, strong economy and a top notch workforce.

Corey bishop is a line supervisor with behold home.

He was hired when the company opened its smithville plant in 2014 and says the work environment is unique.

"i've worked at a lot of furniture factories and so far, this has been, home, this is home, all i can say" one hundred and fifty employees work at the smithville plant, turning out 5000 pieces of furniture each week.

In 2018, behold home opened its pontotoc plant, and with an economy on the rebound, demand for residential furniture never dropped.

In fact, business is so strong, behold home is opening a third plant, in amory.

"we have a very great team at behold home and we wanted to expand, not only to help our customers, but help our community, monroe county has been a very good workforce for us, corporately, so expanding here was a natural move."

Behold home has bought this 100 thousand square foot building on glenn drive.

Plans call for four production lines matching the smithville plant's output of 5 thousand pieces weekly at full capacity.

There is also ample warehouse space with the property.

Beard says the company is looking for skilled workers, and will also train those who are eager for unlimited opportunities.

"we want to be able to train and cultivate new talent, one of the things we tried to do since the pandemic was bring in people outside of the industry, train them and have them ready to manufacture furniture, this is a field you can take and work, it's a skill that won't leave you."

"make good money, right in amory, get treated very well, not like a lot of other furniture factories around here" standup close the contractor has some work to do inside the building.

Behold home plans to have production lines up and running as soon as possible, bringing even more jobs to monroe county.

In amory, allie martin, wcbi news applications are being taken at win job centers, and at behold home furniture locations in smithville and pontotoc.
