Show open calhoun city residents are still in disbelief after a gas station robbery turned into a murder wednesday night.
Two young men and a teen all behind bars and facing capital murder charges.
Today...calhound city police have identified the victim.
Wcbi reporter stephen pimpo is live at the crime scene and joins us with the story.
Joey, police say the victim is 34- year-old abdulwadod ala salahadeen also known as al.
I've seen car after car pull into this parking lot only to turn around when they see its a crime scene.
"pull up here today to go to the bathroom and got tape everywhere and find out the attendant was shot."
It was wednesday night when a robbery at this popular calhoun city gas station turned into a murder.
Calhoun city police said the call came in around 9 p.m.

Su: officers got to the scene to find the store clerk with gun shot wounds and lying on the floor in a pool of blood.
Police say the clerk died on his way to the hospital.
He has since been identified as 34- year-old abdulwadod ala salahadeen, better known as al to his customers.
"he seemed like a decent guy, you know?
You go in, you speak to him and he's always good morning, come again, thank you."
Police say the three suspects fled the scene but witnesses gave them a description.
Eupora police and webster county sheriff's deputies later arrested 17- year-old morris morgan iii, 18-year- old yasim mcgee both from lexington and 20- year-old jakevion greer of grenada.
All three are charged with capital murder.
"these youngsters, you know 17, 18 years old.
That walk into a place and throw their life away for maybe 50 bucks and a couple packs of cigarettes."
A gun and a large sum of money were discovered in the suspects' vehicle.
Police say the only motive so far in the ongoing investigation was the robbery.
"i hate to see it happen in this little community.
We don't have a lot but what we do have we're proud of and it's just really sad."
Police also told me all three are being held without bond.
Morgan faces a secondary charge of armed robbery.

A man charged with manslaughter from an october 25th car crash is behind bars tonight.
Monroe county sheriff kevin crook says eric william patton was arrested in louisiana and brought back to monroe county.
His bond is set at 1 million dollars.
Patton is accused of avoiding a safety checkpoint on hwy 45, near the river bridge in aberdeen.
Patton allegedly drove through the grass median to avoid the checkpoint and entered southbound lane and headed north at a high rate of speed.
Before deputies were able to catch up to patton's vehicle, it collided with another vehicle.
Deonte lawston of starkville was killed in the crash.
A passenger was injured in lawston's vehicle.
"i'm just, i'm glad at this point that we can get the wheels of justice rolling for the families.
I know they've been patient and waiting on some charges to come about.
I've been kind of the middle man on the deal.
We're grateful for the mississippi highway for working the investigation and also bringing the charges."
The mississippi highway patrol says more charges are possible.
Vo gfx gunfire echoes through lowndes county early this morning, as deputies investigate three separate shootings.
Three people were shot, including two teenagers, on downs road about 2:30 am.
Deputies were called about a drive-by shooting.
Two victims were driven to the hospital.
The third person was taken by ambulance.
Sheriff eddie hawkins says one of those victims was later airlifted to a jackson hospital.
The others had non- life-threatening injuries.
Two males, ages 14 and 15, were shot and a 24-year-old female.
Investigators are interviewing witnesses and collecting evidence.
No arrest has been made.
Deputies are also investigating a shooting that happened on dove street, just after midnight.
The victim woke up to hear gunshots outside of her home.
Investigators found multiple bullet holes damaging the house.
No one was injured.
And the third shooting happened at club nu-image on penn station road, just after 1 am.
Deputies were initially told that someone had been shot but have not been able to find a victim.
However, they did find a vehicle in the parking lot that was shot multiple times.
Witnesses told investigators they were inside at the time of the shooting and did not see anything.
No arrests have been made in these shootings.
At this time, investigators do not believe the incidents are related.

Receiving a package on your doorstep this time of year is not unusual... but a winston county woman got a rolled up surprise she wasn't expecting... a plastic container filled with 18 pounds of marijuana was delivered to her brooksville road home.
The unsuspecting woman called deputies to investigate.
Investigators tell wcbi there were 18 of the one pound packages inside the storage tub, which was sprayed with foam insulation.
Deputies say the return label was from minnesota.
No arrest has been made.
The street value of the marijuana is estimated to be at least 20 thousand dollars.
Deputies believe this is a good reminder for people to always be suspicious of packages they did not order.

Shopping is also a little different now due to masks having to be worn, stores opening later, and closing earlier.
People are still adjusting and a few are becoming more comfortable to shop in person.

Some shoppers we spoke with say they like to engage with others and actually see and feel what they are buying.
Sot " the customers that do come in they really are a little bit cautious and we understand that; so we try to keep everything clean, we're cleaning all the time and we do have the sanitation up there where they can keep their hands sanitized.
But the biggest thing i say has changed is the feelings that customers are just really uncertain."
So many people that's very much afraid to come in and i don't go far to shop, but this is my main store and i love coming here because they make me feel comfortable."
Employees say it is important to remember to follow all of the protocols.
Stores are hoping for a robust christmas shopping season.
Wcbi 's allie martin tells us how "black friday" was shaping up for a local retailer and shoppers.
The parking lot at the mall at barnes crossing is full and that's a great sign for retailers, who look to black friday as a good indicator of how the christmas shopping season will shape up.
"this is make or break time for retail," tommy green is manager of reed's at the mall at barnes crossing.
He says customers were waiting in line when doors opened at 7, and business has been steady since.
Green says when local retailers have a robust christmas shopping season, it helps the entire community.
"we're the stores that give back to your ball teams, your extracurricular activities so shop local is very important.
" retailers also hire part-time workers to help meet the demand this time of year.
Nats gift wrapping georgia kate crawford and her sister dawson, are gift wrappers at reed's.
Both attend msu and are able to work more this year because their semester is complete.
"i was excited we were getting out, gives me time to earn extra money because i'm just about to graduate and i hope to go occupational therapy school, save up money for that."
Many shoppers were making a full day of black friday.
Janet borden and her cousins have been coming to tupelo every black friday for thirty years from their home in savannah tennessee.
"the only conditions we have are no men and no children, this is a girl's day out."
Three cousins from smithville were on the black friday shopping excursion with their moms and had a special message for everyone.
"merry christmas" shoppers of all ages we spoke with say they enjoy the experience of getting out with friends and family and finding those bargains.
In tupelo, allie martin, wcbi news a survey shows that eighty two percent of consumers plan to finish purchasing christmas gifts after black friday.

Measures in place to curb the spread of covid-19 are having an impact on non-profits, as they try and carry out their mission.
The salvation army in tupelo has increased its budget for day to day services and for special out reaches, like the annual thanksgiving feeding.
The ministry has had to purchase extra ppe, along with cleaning supplies and other items to help keep people safe in the midst of the pandemic.
Major ray morton encourages people to support the salvation army during the christmas season, when needs from the public often increase.
"it's very important, as you see our kettles out, but don't just rely on kettles, cause even our shopping experience, and that public exposure, we want to encourage people, as we come to giving tuesday, and this holiday season, think about the need we currently have in the community and then understand that it's even more expensive this year because of the restrictions that are in place."

The class 2a north half final between calhoun city and east union.
The wildcats have been rolling this season...winners of 9 straight winning those games by at least 17 points.
For east union, this is the urchins first time in school history playing in the north state final.
The team spoke on how they've been able to rally together to make history under first year head coach todd lott and what this game means for the program.
"stepping in with his first year, we've bonded as a family now.
He's been telling us we're good enough to make it to state.
He's been preaching it since the summer.
Now that we've listened to him, we have a chance to take it."
"we got to keep moving the standard forward.
The past couple years we've won the division.
We haven't gotten very far in the playoffs so to now move pretty deep in the playoffs, i think this is what the standard needs to be for the future of the program."
