Election results: The Uncertainty of not knowing

It could take weeks before we know all the election results, especially with all the absentee and mail in votes still waiting to be counted.

- newschannel two's kirk tupaj turned to local voters to see how they're feeling about having to wait for results.

Nat sot: we did win this election.

Nat sot: it ain't over till every vote is counted.

For some people getting out to cast a vote required a little bit of work this year.

.

None .

None sot: monique dotson, utica resident i had to put some footwork.

I had to jog.

I had to go to the board of elections.

I mean i submitted my registration, and obviously it didn't get there.

I went to the polls which is the city hall here.

Now that election day has come and gone, there's still the looming question of who won?

Sot: ikeisha hernandez, new york city resident it's kind of like crazy.

It's mind boggling.

Anxiety.

It's very stressful.

It's just like a lot of feelings in one waiting you know.

But not everyone is feeling the anxiety of the unknowing.

Sot: rob shauger, lee center resident whoever's going to win is going to win, and we'll keep doing what we're doing as business owners in the area so, i'm not losing sleep over it or worrying about anything.

I'm just going to keep on doing what we're doing.

Some of the uncertainty comes with optimism.

Sot: miles bottrill, syracuse resident obviously it's a little bit unsettling because you want to have a decision so we can& you know we have a decision that you know we can all move forward with and kind of unite, so i'm hopeful that it gets resolved sooner than later.

Others believe this is a process that shouldn't be rushed.

Sot: john hammond, herkimer resident i'm alrightwie lingering thought as we all wait for the final results.

Sot: mike henderson, ilion
