Oregon adds 1,847 cases, 24 deaths

Now to the latest on the coronavirus pandemic.

Oregon reported more than 18 hundred new cases today.

That's the second highest daily case count yet -- after yesterday's record.

These new cases bring our statewide total to over 83 thousand cases.

The oha also reported 24 new deaths today -- raising our death toll to one thousand twenty seven.

Two of those new deaths were in douglas county.

One was a 76 year old man and the other was a 62 year old woman.

Closer to home now all five counties in our viewing area reported new cases today.

Benton reported 21.

Coos reported 18.

Douglas reported 17 and 18 people are in the hospital there.

Linn reported 62.
