Firefighters battled and controlled the flames all last night and into this morning.
We've been working to try and figure out what caused that fire.
Wtva's alexis jones right now is at the site and has the very latest information from fire officials.
I'm outside of cooper tire where chief thomas walker said the fire marshal and investigators met around 4 o'clock.
Chief walker said they met to gather more information and to investigate the damage inside the building .
Walker said the damage to the roof caused water damage inside the building.
A statement released by cooper tires this afternoon said workers in certain departments returned to work last night.
The statement said other workers returned this morning.
The fire was isolated to one area of the plant.
The statement said the company is extremely proud of the employees for their cooperation with evacuations and work changes.
