New Albany School District sets up free Wi-Fi hotspots for students

Wi-Fi is an essential school supply in 2021 — that’s undeniable.

Albany school district leaders set up more than 28 public hotspots around the city to offer free wifi.

Robert garrett, director of technology and innovation for the school district said the they wanted to address the need of some students who struggled with reliable internet during the pandemic.
