Stand-up: changes again for the owners of a local adult store the're packing up in carencro before ever getting to open.nat: i have a landlord who pulled the lease.

I had a signed five year lease, it got pulled.vo: plans to open their second boutique adult store were halted when mike menard received a call from his landlord just a week and a half before opening day.sot: he basically sighted a nuisance clause where we have been alleged to have annoyed one of the neighbors in some form or fashion.

Vo: the alleged incident came after menar's wife spoke with an employee of a cigar store next door...who also happened to be at a city council meeting regarding menar's store just days prior.sot: my wife walked outside, he initiated a conversation with her and said hey i met you guys the other night at the council meeting' she said'i do't remember, were you for us or against us' he said that'i would't say that 'm against you, i do't even know you'vo: menard says his landlord pulled the plug because his wife allegedly intimidated the employee...adding that he feels the landlord was looking for any reason to rescind the lease.sot: i just wanted to open my store.

But now 've got a breach of contract.

've got all sorts of things here that i think because it turned into a political football, he saw an out and took it.vo: now they plan to open their second location in youngsville...menard says he never wanted trouble with carencro and hopes things go smoothly at the new potential location.sot: we have a meeting this afternoon with the city to just make sure w're not opening up some can of worms because i do't want to be a problem for youngsville.

I did't want to be a problem for carencro.

But i do want to open my store.tag : now i reached out to the landlord of the shopping center where craze was set to open in just two days to get his take on why he was rescinding the lease but he declined to comment at this time...reporting in carencro...kenny darr...news fifteen.

Now menard reached out to news fifteen saying the meeting with youngsville officials this afternoon went well...adding that they signed a lease and hope to open in roughly six weeks.
